Applied Intelligent Systems Lab

Perception and Autonomy:

  • First response domain: physics based, learning and hybrid methods for automated survey, analysis and prediction of the impact of large scale disasters
  • Multi-Agent collaborative networks: Aerial and ground vehicle teams, for mapping large-scale limited mobility, dynamic environments

Dynamics and controls:

  • Analysis of off-nominal trajectory dependencies of performance and handling qualities of high performance unmanned aerial systems
  • Outer-loop controller design for precision maneuvering of small unmanned systems
